STEP ONE:
Read my prices and procedure and send me a message via email (stephanielowcreative@gmail.com) or via Facebook messenger with any further questions you may have and so we can discuss your design prior to your purchase of the down payment so we can agree that your ideas can be translated to illustration and that I will feel confident tackling your design.
STEP TWO:
Down payment of $50 will be made via my Etsy shop in order to secure your place on my waitlist. This deposit is non-refundable once I have begun work on your tattoo design.
This down payment will be deducted from your final cost.
The moment your down payment is processed your name will be added to my wait list. I will inform you where your name lies on the list once I can. Each design takes anywhere from 1 day to 3+ weeks on average. This gives you an idea of how long it will take me to make it your name on the list. I remain in contact with you at every step of my wait list in order to keep you informed on my progress. You are always welcome to contact me if you haven’t heard anything in a while. I will get started on your design once those in front of you on the list have been finished. I do however enjoy sometimes working on two or more designs at a time. So be sure to finalize exactly what you want me to draw for you BEFORE I start drawing.
STEP THREE:
YOUR “LIST”
Look at each of my designs on my Facebook page and determine if there are any you would like to take from/alter.
I prefer that you look at my designs before you make your “list” because my current designs can give you an idea of what I can accomplish and how much I can fit into a design.
Include SIZE, LOCATION ON YOUR BODY, SHAPE AND DETAILS TO ADD IN
Your “list”: Look at your life and ask yourself what/who you want represented. A typical list that I receive looks something like this:
7 INCHES, LEFT FOREARM, CURVED S SHAPE, ROSE, BUTTERFLY, SNAIL, FERN
This gives me a great “snapshot” look at what you want to achieve. You can give me reference images to look at as well. You can ask for anything, but I will critique and advise you on the list you provide me in order to make sure it will be aesthetically pleasing and have good balance/flow. So start on your list right when you make the down payment. I will ask for it soon. Remember to add sizing and location and side of your body. Those are both very important.
Your list will need to be realistic based on the size you choose. For example, if you want a small 4 inch design I can typically only fit 1-3 things into this size feather. I always keep about a 50/50% balance of feather to add-ins in order to maintain the overall look that it is still a feather. So a 4 inch feather only has 2 inches of extra design space to add things in.
STEP FOUR
Once I have started your design I will be in touch as often as I work on it. I try to work on it each week night (usually no weekends). I will send photos and I will have lots of questions and always seek for your opinions and criticism as I have rough drafts to share. I want YOU to be happy, so if I am going in the wrong direction, please say so.
Revisions MUST be in accordance to what you originally requested. Any revisions that go outside of the original request will increase your final cost. FOR EXAMPLE: If I have already begun work and you decide you want a rose instead of a daisy. This type of change could result in a price increase.
If I decide that the piece needs a revision without consulting you before hand, or see it fit to change something based on my own opinion, this will not count as a revision and therefore will not bring up your price. I will consult you with any changes I see need to be considered.
YOUR FINISHED DESIGN
Once you have approved your design and we are sure there are no more changes to be made I will make a final perfect draft of your image and can have the finished product ready for you to purchase within two working days and it will be available for instant down load on my Etsy shop. As far as I understand it, the digital file must be downloaded to a desktop computer, not a tablet or phone. If this does not work for you, after your purchase I can email you the photo.
The end price will fall within the range agreed upon based on your selected size and then upon complexity, time, etc. I will subtract your $50 down payment from the end total price.

I ask three things of those I have completed designs for:
- If you wouldn’t mind please keep in touch! Please send me some photos once you have gotten started with putting the design on skin. Clear photos in natural light from a good straight on angle are most appreciated. Something you won’t mind me sharing with those who follow my Facebook and Instagram pages.
- PLEASE, PLEASE change anything you want once you are in the chair with your tattoo artist. If something is not quite right, or you want to add color, or you want a smaller flower, etc., have them tweak it. it is all yours to put on your skin. it should be what you want. Remember how extremely talented tattoo artists are, and their opinions of what will work and not, is priceless. I would also ask that you remind and inform your tattoo artist that this image is not for reuse or advertising. It is my image and has been copyrighted for my use and the one time use as a tattoo by its purchaser.
- Please when you have a chance, leave me a shop review. I love to get them, they help me out a ton. They are a great way for me to keep business running. It only takes a moment and is easy to do. However, there is a small window of time after final purchase that Etsy will allow reviews so please make note to leave me a review once you have purchased the final image.
