You are likely coming from the lovely, the Spellbinder’s Blog prior to hitting mine, so for that I am so very thankful. My name is Stephanie and I illustrated this stamp set for you. Just you, the one sitting in your jams with a cuppa coffee and a hankering for some creative inspiration.
Just Add Color just hit shelves and I couldn’t be happier if I tried because she is so lovely and dainty and whimsy and lovely. Just like you my lovely friends!

She is everything you want in a stamp collection because these images can literally be used for everything. Every holiday (I am looking at you Christmas!). Every occasion (even a Quinceanera or Bar Mitzva or my gay best friend’s wedding!). Every gender (dudes love flowers, even if they won’t admit it, but I did throw in some mandalas for the win just in case). And. Every. Dang. Crafting. Project! Cards, Scrapbooking, Journaling, Planner(ing?), Fine Art. You name it and we can find a way because I am DETERMINED!
Ok, whatever, moving on because you have a ton of blogs to get to and I don’t want to take too much of your precious beautiful time. Just kidding.
I loved making these images for you. In case you are unaware I do a lot of custom tattoo designs for folks from all over the world, so when I design a stamp collection I like to draw inspiration from tattoo art and ride the line between exaggerated botanicals and true to nature botanicals. I have a little bit of both here and I hope you love them like I do!

My baby Chrysanthemum stamp is going to give you all of the “I need to color right now for my sanity” vibes! She is sooo very much fun to color. Keeping track of the insides of her petals versus the outside can be tricky but the result is so rewarding! I used some dies not in this collection for this design (the geometric die was an early Lene Lok die which I am in love with and can’t find on the website anymore… and the leaves are from my Good Vibes Only die collection found here: Good Vibes Only) And don’t we LOVE LOVE LOVE the InkOn3 “no line coloring” technique? If you haven’t heard this new trend has taken off!

Isn’t this fun, and time consuming!? But seriously, I have just decided I am going to take your whole afternoon because I can and because I want to toot my Just Add Color horn all day long.

Can we all just agree that coloring on dark paper with Prismacolor Pencils (OR Polychromos) is just about the coolest thing ever!? I think we can. Moving on…

(above) I also used and gold embossed a stamp called Geo Dots from my Cool Vibes collection, found here: Cool Vibes

I have first and foremost loved making patterns on cardstock with this collection. I think I went through a dozen sheets of paper just stamping patterns repeatedly the first day I got to play with them. I like that; colored or uncolored or partially colored; the patterns are so perfect for framing up any card or project!

I saved this one for last for two reasons. 1. It doesn’t fit the color and style of my previous cards and it is making me a little bit crazy but it’s ok actually because I made this card like 6 months ago so I will give myself a break. And 2. Feathers are my jam! Best for last folks.

I built this stamp with the intention that she be layered on top of one another like so. Most people I have seen play with this stamp have used the feather separately which is the obvious way to do it so that’s cool – BUT when you layer my little baby flowers on top of my sweet feather friend…. Dude – she comes together splendidly. I used an X-Acto knife to slice and dice her until I could puzzle piece her together just right. I will likely try again as this was my first attempt and it is a little rough (don’t look closer now! Jeez!)

Ok fine, look closer…

Actually liked your last Card best. Sometimes it is uncomfortable to do something new. Sometimes that’s when your best talents are discovered:)
I can testify to that for SURE! Stepping into the craft industry was a leap of faith and it has been a wonderful adventure and rewarding experience! XOXO
Gorgeous cards! These colours make my heart happy!
Oh Man! Blues are my heart’s color. Which is weird because it isn’t my favorite color. I think blues are my go to color because they are so tranquil and cool and soothing. Thanks xoxo

yes – the dark cardstock coloring has been a huge hit! thanks girl! xoxo
Beautifuly colored flowers. Love the way you shaded the tips of the petals on your first card.
I try to get all the shading and dimension in on those florals because it makes a big difference. Glad you noticed. xoxo
Wow those are so beautiful.

Wowwwwwww! These cards are real stand-outs!! These are my favorites of all time. I just love the Chrysanthemum stamp and the dark color background. I need a video so I can be as good as this. Amazing cards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am not super tech savvy or I would show you some tutorials. Hopefully I will figure all that out eventually. Because it would be super fun. You are my favorite commenter of all time now babe! xoxo
OMG your cards are incredible – love each and everyone of them – so beautifully colored and designed:)
Thank you Dee you are so sweet! xoxo
Wow Stephanie, I don’t know if I’m going to be able to express well enough how I think you have such an amazing artistic talent!! I haven’t been to your blog before, but I am going to bookmark it so I can come back after I’ve seen the rest of the hop & look at all you have to offer. I am more than impressed with your cards! My two favourites are the coloured pencils on dark card stock. I love that soft velvety look you get with it. My second favourite is the floral mandala with the hint of gold embossing & the two small blue shaded flowers. I’d so like to have the Peonies & the Floral Mandala. Thanks so much for being will to share the beauty of your talent!
That embossing adds so much doesn’t it!!?? I recently (within the last few years) even discovered embossing and then I started adding it to like literally everything. I was pressed for time on these projects or you would have seen much more of it! I spent a lot A LOT of time coloring! thanks babe! xoxo
What an amazing, creative mind you have! I am blown away. Thank you so much for sharing. I already have some of your designs, but now I have to have more! 🙂
OoOoOoOH! Which designs do you already have?! I am glad you like my style enough to purchase again! You da real MVP! xoxo
What an amazing collection of art work for this stamp line. I was intrigued that you rode the line on the stamped floral and tattoo images. If I had to choose which is my favourite from your fabulous sampling of cards I would be hard pressed to pick as each was uni1que and wonderful in it’s own way. But it did inspire me to look at layering and backgrounding a little differently. I also loved the images on the coloured paper as they just popped right off the page. Finally what really captured my attention and made me wander through your blog and pictures was your colourful writing style. I felt like I knew you. Thanks so much for the wander.
I am glad that my designs inspired and excited you and that we were better able to get to know each other through the art. You sounds like a fantastic person and I am grateful that you stopped by. thanks xoxo
your creativity and coloring is amazing – love love all the florals in your new release!

Thank you so much for designing such great products!
The flowers have so much depth. The shading on

I love the cards with the partial coloring. I’m not

I love all of these gorgeous floral designs! Beautiful coloring on each card!
What an absolutely beautiful set! I want them all, but especially the floral love heart!! I love your gorgeous coloring! Especially love the option of adding the flowers or using the feather alone. I have some of your previous feathers and they’d all make a nice ‘bouquet’! I like that you left some of the flowers uncolored and they still look fabulous… makes a nice option not to have to color it all. : )
Your cards are beautiful!! These stamp sets are quite lovely!
